All organic ingredients: Roasted Dandelion root, Cardamom (hulled seed), Eleuthero root, Licorice root, Wild Yam root, Roasted Camellia twig, Black Pepper (cracked), Cinnamon Bark, Ginger root, Meadowsweet blossom, Star Anise (powdered pod and seed), Turmeric (powdered). (trace caffeine)*

Steeping Instructions: 2-3tsp | 8oz | 212˚F | 10-25+ min. Best to use spring or filtered water. Bring water to boil, pour over leaves, let steep, strain into drinking vessel. For iced tea, brew strong, let cool, strain over ice. For greater health benefit, steep at least twice. Drink 2 - 6 cups per day for three weeks, take a week off; repeat. (The week off is a general guideline from Russian researchers, to maintain potency of effects on the body.)

Flavor Profile: Robust, deep, nutty roast with smooth, sweet body; balanced by a spicy bight and floral undertone.

ANTIVIRAL NOTE: Pertinent to the current corona virus pandemic, this formula contains five clinically proven antiviral herbs - Dandelion, Eleuthero, Licorice, Cinnamon and Ginger!

Health Benefits: Like the Daily Balance formula, our Anti-inflammatory Chai is also formulated to benefit the over all balance and healthy functioning for your body's vital systems including adrenal, sexual/reproductive, digestive, respiratory, circulatory, immune and cognitive).

Additionally as the name states, it is especially chock-full of powerful anti-inflammatory herbs; some famous as the Turmeric/Black pepper combination, as well as less well known power-house herbs like the adaptogenic Wild Yam root (Dioscorea villosa), whose combination with Licorice is touted by master herbalist David Hoffman as some of the strongest anti-inflammatory herbs out there. That same combination of Wild Yam and Licorice are also noted for their anti-spasmodic properties, aiding women's menstrual cramps and menopausal symptoms.

The anti-inflammatory benefits are further enhanced by adding milk, cream, coconut oil, ghee or another favorite fat, which also tastes delicious in chai.

The stress hormone regulatory effects of the adaptogenic herbs (Eleuthero, Licorice, Wild Yam) have been clinically proven to help maintain relaxed vitality in the midst of stressful conditions, as well as normal conditions.

*a note on the trace caffeine content: this comes from the roasted twig tea in the formula. Whereas leaf teas have about 60% of the caffeine content as coffee, twig teas have no more than 5 or 10% and since there is less than a gram of twig tea in a single serving of the chai, the caffeine content is about as trace as can be. Most people can drink this right before bed with no trouble sleeping, but we want to let anyone know who is particularly sensitive to caffeine.
